This activity is for people who want to start or improve their skills in this sport. The requirements for the course is just knowing how to swim and wanting to learn. Duration: 3 days with a minimum development 6 hours a day with lunch included at some point of the river.
Goals:
Day 1
• Team recognition • Familiarization with personal equipment • Water knowledge and vocabulary • Basic safety rules • Basic knowledge of rescue and self-rescue • Paleo techniques • Eskimo roll techniques • Free rowing
Day 2
• Paleo techniques • Eskimo roll techniques • Knowledge of solving situations and teamwork in the natural environment •Recognition of class I, II rapids in the natural environment • Diagonal navigation (ferry technique) in the natural environment •Eddyline navigation (Eddyline technique) in the natural environment • Eddy navigation (Eddy technique) in the natural environment
Day 3
• Recognition of class I, II, III rapids in the natural environment • Class I, II, III descents in the natural environment • Instructor evaluation according to the descents observed in the river. • Course certificate
